A supersonic networking event

Updated: Oct 18, 2023

Last week we were cordially invited to attend a networking event at the impressive Imperial War Museum in Duxford to find out more about the fantastic conference facilities.

After being greeted in the Airside Suite, with the most amazing views out onto the runway and airfield, we were given a tour of all the different conferencing options.

IWM Duxford features a purpose built conference centre, housed within the award winning AirSpace exhibition hangar, ideal for large corporate events and conference meetings.

The centre also boasts eight smaller individual rooms suitable for groups from 5 up to 100 and complemented by the Marshall Auditorium – a tiered lecture theatre which seats up to 200 people.

Next to the AirSpace exhibition, the Conservation Hall is the largest event area accommodating up to 800 delegates with break out and plenary rooms available. A blank canvas, this space can be used to host exhibitions and also product launches.

Once the tour had concluded, we were invited to sample the delicious banqueting options underneath the wing of Concorde!

With champagne and canapés and some of the worlds most renowned aircrafts (including the Virgin Hot Air Balloon) this was one of the most pleasant networking events yet!

So if you, or your business, are looking for an outstanding venue with that WOW factor then we highly recommend IWM Duxford, as they guarantee to offer something very special indeed.
