Matt Ford, Director of GFI Training contacted Emerald Frog Marketing after working together on two successful brand identity and website projects for other companies within his portfolio.
This time we were asked to come up with a new name, new brand identity and complete website re-design. We were asked to take into consideration the new direction of their business into funded and co-funded training, specifically targeted at schools (youths aged 16-18yrs), Individuals (19yrs +) and companies / health club chains looking to up-skill existing staff or take on apprentices.
The branding and the website design needed to reflect the target audience, be engaging to all age groups but have an underlying theme of study / learning associated to it.
The Result
The new logo is based on progression and moving forward. Goodman Ford Inspired Training is the full meaning behind the brand, providing a good solid base to work from and promoting their key message ‘to inspire students, individuals and companies to invest in their education and promote progression in the workplace within the fitness industry.’
We know the client well enough to know what their likes and dislikes so coming up with a website design to fit the brief was easy. It needed to be edgy, eye-catching and bold with real attention to detail on every page.
We opted for the school / college theme throughout with chalkboards, pin-boards, and indoor sports courts for backgrounds. This accompanied with the note paper, polaroid style images and page tabs for the navigation bar, provided the client with exactly the look they were hoping for.
