Emerald Frog Marketing is delighted to announce that we have been chosen as the marketing and PR agency for Dragons’ Den winner, Bare Naked Foods.

Bare Naked Noodles from Bare Naked Foods are a revolutionary low carb, high protein, gluten free alternative to pasta and noodles ideal for weight management.  In August 2013, Bare Naked Foods’ Managing Director, Ross Mendham, appeared on BBC television programme Dragons’ Den and, after a dramatic pitch, secured investment from entrepreneur Peter Jones as business partner.

Holland and Barratt Shoot

The noodles are made using the Asian-grown Konjac plant; a miracle plant low in carbohydrates, sugar and calories. Containing fewer than 16 calories per 100g, Bare Naked Noodles can be used as a replacement to carbohydrates in a variety of dishes including pastas, stir-fries and soups and are ideal for those looking to achieve or maintain a healthy weight.

Like most business success stories, Ross’ lightning bolt came when he realised there was no answer available on the market and he knew there would be thousands of other health conscious men and women looking for low carb, yet filling food to cook at home. Bare Naked Noodles are now available in Holland and Barrett stores across the UK and will also soon be available in Boots’ stores nationally.

Ross Mendham said, “Barenaked Foods is delighted to have Emerald Frog Marketing on board as our PR agency. We chose Emerald Frog Marketing for their great reputation and experience and they went the extra mile with their pitch, creating a national PR and marketing strategy across specialist and consumer markets. I look forward to working with the Emerald Frog Marketing team to develop the Bare Naked Foods brand both nationally and into Europe”.
