Stormport Professional Services Ltd based in Witchford, raised £1065 after taking part in a tandem sky-dive to raise funds on behalf of their chosen charity, the Child Brain Injury Trust.
Five team members volunteered to take part in the event, which took place with North London Sky-Diving at Chatteris Airfield, near March in Cambridgeshire on June 7th.
“We are delighted to have raised so much money for this very worthy charity, beating our £1000 target”, says Steve Wright, Managing Director at Stormport. “Every half an hour in the UK, a child or young person will acquire a brain injury. The Child Brain Injury Trust provides information, support and training to anyone affected by this devastating and life changing condition.”
Stormport will be taking part in another sky-dive later on this year for the other staff volunteers eager to throw themselves out of a plane!
